change in narratives

Further research in to the topic I can see there are two main narratives other than the ones that I have discovered. These are the liberal narratives of the event verses the conservative narratives of the event. The liberals support the boy scouts in there change while the conservatives do not. I think that looking at these narratives versus the narratives of the feminist and the Christians will help me be more objective.

  1. There will always be multiple narratives emerging from any story. Your job is not to categorize or verify any of them, but rather to observe how strategies are applied. Persuasion, especially involving social attitudes, can change with events or with public pressure. The initial impressions held by the public can be influenced by many factors.

Also, don't be so quick to assume that any narratives with naturally divide into "liberal" and "conservative" positions. With an organization like the Boy Scouts, factions can develop even within these larger demographics.

Be an analyst of strategy, not an advocate of some moral position.
